Only a handful of exceptional artists transcend mere painting by crating new methods, new processes, and new languages with their art. They speak to us on a higher plane through multi-dimensions ; each dimension at times fascinating us and at times pushing us to new awareness of the past and present.

Alain Kleinmann, child of holocaust survivors, evokes such fascination through his special mediums of painting and print making, combined with his advances degrees in theoretical mathematics and semiology, the study of signs. His work at once captivates us with the sorrow of the past, and simultaneously catapults us into a world of his own. His world of art holds our interest through its poignant scenes, that seem both melodic and alive. He has crated his own unique visual vocabulary, which throws signs at us evoking Europe's past while projecting such post-bar masters as Francis Bacon, Larry Rivers, and Robert Rauschenberg.

His works have been exhibited at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Berlin Kunstholle, the Charlottenberg Museum in Copenhagen, the Judah L Magnes Museum in Berkeley and many other international galleries and museums. He has received dozens of medals for artistic excellence. He is a member of Europe's leading art salons and has crated costume and stage designs for Paris productions and illustrations for leading French news-papers and books.
